Black Widow actor Rachel Weisz confirmed her character's official name and occupation in a new interview with Jimmy Kimmel.

Weisz was more or less forced to confirm her character's full name after Kimmel introduced her on a new episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! as the actor portraying "Melina Vostokoff." When Weisz appeared on Zoom for the segment, she was obviously thrown off, and immediately told the host, "I think we're not allowed to say Melina's second name. I think we're prohibited from saying Melina's second name. I think it's a Marvel Cinematic secret."

When Kimmel suggested that he may have shared a spoiler, a shaken Weisz admitted, "I believe so." The actor also revealed that, when she was cast, Marvel gave her a list of things she wouldn't be allowed to reveal in interviews -- which she promptly lost.

"The one thing I do remember is — I know the big spoilers which I'm obviously not going to say -- my character's second name is like --," Weisz said, then mimed that her lips were sealed. Kimmel was quick to reassure Weisz that her character's full name is already public knowledge, noting, "That's out there. That's public knowledge." He added, however, that Weisz probably should have kept the list from Marvel, which caused the actor to throw her hands in the air in defeat.

While Weisz was hesitant to reveal much more about her character, she did concede that -- like Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff -- Melina "is a Black Widow." "She has been trained as a Black Widow spy. She's a highly-skilled spy and scientist," the actor revealed. "She runs a...pig farm. And that's where the family met me, at my scientific lab. I also keep pigs, which I experiment on."

A visibly surprised Kimmel responded to the occupation reveal by joking that Weisz's character is a "pig-farming-spyintist."

During the interview, Kimmel also joked that he's been cast to play Kraven the Hunter in a forthcoming MCU film, to which Weisz replied, "[Black Widow co-star] David Harbour was trying to talk to you about it last night and you were quite shy about it!" Kimmel's joke was in reference to the recent news that Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who previously portrayed Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver in the MCU, will portray Kraven in the upcoming self-titled film -- which is set in the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel characters.

Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, O-T Fagbenle as Mason and Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff. The film arrives in theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access July 9.
