Fan-favorite Marvel Comics character Taskmaster will make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the upcoming Black Widow film. Since the MCU is known for creating mostly comic-accurate costumes for its characters, Taskmaster seems to be no exception, as promo art released by Topps shows him wearing an outfit that stays somewhat true to the source material.Shared on Twitter, the artwork -- which will be used on a trading card by Topps -- shows Taskmaster in full costume, showing off vibrant colors of blue, orange and white that evoke Taskmaster’s classic color scheme.RELATED: Black Widow Introduces a Young Natasha Romanoff to the MCU

Of course, there are some notable changes, such as the costume having a more armored design and the missing cape. Beyond those, the suit still manages to stay faithful to the character's comic book roots while giving it a more realistic look.

Debuting in the pages of 1980's The Avengers # 195 and created by writer David Michelinie and artist George Pérez, Taskmaster is mercenary who possesses the power of "photographic reflexes,” which allows him to perfectly copy any move he sees. As of now, there is still no information regarding the identity of the actor playing the character in Black Widow.
