Bodybuilder Olivier Richters, aka The Dutch Giant, has joined the cast of Marvel Studios' next feature film, Black Widow.

Richters himself confirmed his casting in a post to Instagram. "I can finally tell you guys," Richters wrote. "For the last three weeks, I have been in the UK filming my part for the movie: Black Widow."

He continued, "This year in January, for the first time in my life I started to join castings for movies, who would have thought that I got to start with The King's Man, then off to Gangs of London (HBO) and now Black Widow (Marvel). If someone in 2018 told me my career in the movie industry would start like this, I would have called an ambulance for him."

The Netherlands-born bodybuilder did not get his name of The Dutch Giant for nothing. Richters is considered to be the tallest active bodybuilder in the world, standing at an imposing 7 feet 2 inches. With that in mind, it seems safe to say his Marvel character will be similarly intimidating. That being said, no details regarding Richters' role have been revealed.
