Up until this point, Natasha Romanoff has been the Marvel Cinematic Universe's one and only Black Widow. However, according to Rachel Weisz -- who is set to star in the upcoming Black Widow solo film -- a few other characters may be taking on that codename.

While sitting down with IGN, Weisz was asked about the multiple women who appeared in the film's teaser trailer at Comic-Con International in San Diego. "I'm a Black Widow," Weisz said of her character, Melina. "And Scarlett [Johansson] and Florence [Pugh.] And there's at least... quite a lot of characters that you meet in the film that are Black Widows."

When questioned about Natasha [Scarlett] not mentioning or knowing about the others, Weisz answers, "I think she knows. But you'd have to ask her." Along with the multitude of Black Widows, the award-winning actress mentions that her character has gone through the infamous Red Room program five times before the film begins.

Directed by Cate Shortland, Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, O.T. Fagbenle as Mason and Rachel Weisz as Melina. The film comes to theaters on May 1, 2020.
