With April 2021 in full swing, movie studios and television networks are unveiling their major offerings for the upcoming summer. Leading the charge this week is Paramount+, which commemorated Star Trek's in-universe holiday First Contact Day with a line of trailers and panels the series' returning this year. And not to be outdone, Netflix, Disney+ and HBO Max similarly have shared new looks at their own upcoming content, with footage for such offerings as Black Widow.

Here are all the biggest trailers, teasers and promos released the second week of April 2021.

Batman: The Long Halloween

One of the most acclaimed Batman comic book stories is Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale's 1996 maxi-series Batman: The Long Halloween. The classic story is now being adapted into a two-part animated film. The debut trailer for the upcoming movie reveals a serial killer claiming new victims on monthly holidays as the Dark Knight, Jim Gordon and Harvey Dent scramble to discover the murderer's true identity. Boasting an all-star voice cast, audiences will get to experience Loeb and Sale's story like never before.

Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One stars Jensen Ackles as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Naya Rivera as Catwoman/Selina Kyle, Josh Duhamel as Harvey Dent, Billy Burke as James Gordon, Titus Welliver as Carmine Falcone, David Dastmalchian as Calendar Man, Troy Baker as Joker, Amy Landecker as Barbara Gordon, Julie Nathanson as Gilda Dent, Jack Quaid as Alberto, Fred Tatasciore as Solomon Grundy and Alastair Duncan as Alfred, along with Frances Callier, Greg Chun, Gary Leroi Gray and Jim Pirri. The film will be released June 22.

Black Widow

With Black Widow officially rescheduled and set for a July release in theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access, a new trailer sends audiences back into the life and times of Natasha Romanoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The trailer teases Natasha's early days back in Russia before she reunites with her family while being pursued by the villainous Taskmaster.

Directed by Cate Shortland, Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, O-T Fagbenle as Mason and Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff. The film arrives in theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access July 9.

Charmed

The CW's Charmed reboot continues to build the dynamic between the Charmed Sisters and the Power of Three as the women learn more about their mother's mysterious past. While confronting a hooded intruder, Maggie learns that she has a previously undiscovered cousin and one that is after the Book of Shadows that her mother apparently stole years ago.

Charmed stars Sarah Jeffery, Madeleine Mantock, Melonie Diaz, Rupert Evans, Jordan Donica and Poppy Drayton. New episodes air on The CW on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Cruella

The origins of the villainous Cruella de Vil are revealed in the upcoming Disney movie Cruella, with a new trailer teasing more the film's 1970s London setting and the aspiring fashionista's nemesis in the story. As Estella de Vil tries to make waves in the exclusive London fashion scene, she crosses paths with the ruthless Baroness von Hellman in a showdown that may just cost Cruella her soul.

Directed by Craig Gillespie, Cruella stars Emma Stone, Emma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser, Joel Fry and Emily Beecham. The film arrives in theaters and on Disney+ Premiere Access May 28.

The Flash

As The Flash races into action with his recently restored super-speed, Cisco Ramon and Chester P. Runk go on their own time-bending team-up in the latest episode of the Arrowverse series. Cisco and Chester find themselves stranded in the 1990s, quickly disguising themselves in period-appropriate clothing in a promo for the episode while Barry Allen contends with the new, living Speed Force.

The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes and Tom Cavanagh. New episodes air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

Game of Thrones

While Game of Thrones may have come to an end with its eighth season years ago, the entire series is available to stream in its entirety on HBO Max as the show reaches its tenth anniversary. The premium streaming service unveiled a new trailer for the final season, revealing the fan-favorite cast vying for control of the Iron Throne in one last Westerosi war.

Game of Thrones stars Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and Kit Harington. All eight seasons are streaming on HBO Max.

Jupiter's Legacy

Mark Millar and Frank Quitely's bestselling superhero comic book series Jupiter's Legacy is being adapted into an ambitious live-action series on Netflix next month. The first full trailer for the series shows the Golden Age heroes exploring a remote island where they received their superpowers in the 1930s. As the narrative flashes forward ninety years, the heroes are seen confronting their legacies... and their own super-powered children.

Netflix's Jupiter's Legacy stars Josh Duhamel as The Utopian, Ben Daniels as Brain-Wave, Leslie Bibb as Lady Liberty, Elena Kampouris as Chloe Sampson, Andrew Horton as Brandon Sampson, Mike Wade as The Flare, Anna Akana as Raikou and Matt Lanter as Skyfox. The series premieres May 7 on Netflix.

Kung Fu

The CW's reboot of Kung Fu is off to a strong start, posting impressive viewership figures upon its series premiere this past week. The latest promo for the series has Nicky Shen claim her martial arts destiny and defend the people of her hometown in San Francisco's Chinatown from the rising crime wave. And as Nicky puts her skills to good use, she is reminded of the mysterious Khilan who murdered her Shifu Pei-Ling.

Loki

As The Falcon and the Winter Soldier enters its second half, the next Marvel Studios live-action series Loki has released a new trailer ahead of its June premiere. Picking up after the alternate timeline's Loki stealing the Tesseract during Avengers: Endgame, the God of Mischief is now in the custody of the Time Variance Authority and tasked with keeping divergent timelines from plunging into chaos.

Loki stars Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Richard E. Grant. The series premieres June 11 on Disney+.

Path of Exile 2

The epic fantasy game Path of Exile is slated to receive a sequel from developer Grinding Gears Games, with the video game studio providing a trailer including a tantalizing look at Path of Exile 2's swords and sorcery laden gameplay. As players encounter hordes of ravenous undead and fearsome monsters, they can take into thrilling combat and magical spells to triumph and protect the fantasy world of Wraeclast from evil.

Path of Exile 2 is developed by Grinding Gears Games. No release date or targeted beta period has officially been announced.

Space Jam: A New Legacy

25 years after the classic sports film Space Jam, NBA superstar Lebron James headlines a revival of Warner Bros.' crossover epic this July with Space Jam: A New Legacy. As James struggles to connect with his son, he is whisked through the Warner Media Multiverse where he joins forces with Bugs Bunny to take on a new team of rivals in an Easter egg-packed debut trailer.

Directed by Malcolm D. Lee, Space Jam: A New Legacy stars LeBron James, Don Cheadle and Sonequa Martin-Green. The film arrives in theaters and on HBO Max July 16.

Star Trek: Discovery

Star Trek: Discovery ended its third season this past December with the eponymous Federation starship centuries further into the future and Michael Burnham finally taking command. Rebuilding Starfleet and the Federation after a cataclysmic event known as the Burn, the crew is now seen sporting new uniforms as they face a massive gravitational anomaly that threatens to devastate the entire galaxy.

Streaming on Paramount+, Star Trek: Discovery stars Sonequa Martin-Green as Commander Michael Burnham, Doug Jones as Commander Saru, Anthony Rapp as Lt. Commander Paul Stamets, Mary Wiseman as Ensign Sylvia Tilly, Wilson Cruz as Dr. Hugh Culber, David Ajala as Cleveland "Book" Booker, Blu del Barrio as Adira, Ian Alexander as Gray, Tig Notaro as Chief Engineer Reno and Michelle Yeoh as Philippa Georgiou. Seasons 1-3 are currently available to stream on Paramount+, with Season 4 premiering later this year.

Star Trek: Lower Decks

The popular Star Trek animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks is confirmed to return for its second season this summer, with even more interstellar hijinks coming for the crew of the Cerritos and their old friend Brad Boimler. As Ensign Beckett Mariner leads her crew mates on gladiatorial games, Mariner is seen freaking out on his new assignment. In addition to receiving its official premiere date, series creator Mike McMahan has confirmed Paramount+ has renewed the series for a third season.

Streaming on Paramount+, Star Trek: Lower Decks stars Tawny Newsome as Ensign Beckett Mariner, Eugene Cordero as Ensign Rutherford, Jack Quaid as Ensign Brad Boimler, Noël Wells as Ensign Tendi, Dawnn Lewis as Captain Carol Freeman, Jerry O'Connell as Commander Jack Ransom, Gillian Vigman as Doctor T'Ana and Fred Tatasciore as Lieutenant Shaxs. Season 2 premieres Aug. 12.

Star Trek: Picard

While principal photography finally underway on Star Trek: Picard Season 2, the Paramount+ series has unveiled the first teaser trailer for the series' eagerly anticipated return. As Jean-Luc Picard waxes philosophically on the nature of time over a quick tour of his vineyard back in France, his omnipotent antagonist Q is confirmed to return as humanity remains on trial.

Star Trek: Picard stars Patrick Stewart, Alison Pill, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera and Harry Treadaway. The first season is available on Paramount+.

Street Fighter V

With Street Fighter V now in its fifth and final season of DLC, Capcom's popular fighting game has unveiled a first look at guest fighter Akira Kazama, from the fighting game series Rival Schools, in action. The gameplay trailer reveals Akira battling Dan Hibiki, the inaugural inclusion in Season 5's roster additions, with a major familiar face from Rival Schools making a surprise appearance.

Developed and published by Capcom, Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is available now for PlayStation 4 and PC.

Supergirl

Supergirl Season 6 kicked off with Lex Luthor exiling Kara Zor-El to the Phantom Zone during an epic showdown in the Fortress of Solitude. As Kara searches for a way to escape from her extra-dimensional prison, the rest of her friends must contend with a phantom that has emerged in the outside world while devising a way to rescue her. And while Alex Danvers is devastated over what happened to Kara, Martian Manhunter stoically leads the charge to save the day.

Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers, David Harewood as Martian Manhunter, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers, Nicole Maines as Dreamer and Jesse Rath as Brainiac-5. New episodes premiere Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
