A new featurette for Marvel's upcoming Black Widow movie showcases the film's intense action sequences.

The nearly two-minute video offers a behind-the-scenes look at many of the film's action scenes, including car chases with the mysterious villain, The Taskmaster, explosions and hand-to-hand combat. It also features interviews with Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Rachel Weisz and director Cate Shortland. "Black Widow is something that the Marvel Universe has never experienced before," Johansson said in the video. "The action in this film is real. You have these huge armored vehicles going through these iconic streets in Budapest."

"Within like two days of knowing Scarlett I was just ramming her into a doorframe," said Pugh, who plays Yelena Belova, the sister of Natasha Romanoff. She continued, "All the fighting in this film is so emotional and about not knowing how to say what you feel." Another Black Widow sneak peek offered a first look at Yelena's fighting skills, wherein the character kicks a passenger seat out of a moving car and into a motorcyclist.

Johansson also went on to say in the featurette that Black Widow will have "some of the most intense fight scenes" in the MCU so far. For example, Harbour, who plays Alexei Shostakov, aka. Red Guardian describes a fight scene that takes place in "this enormous prison" that used about 400 extras. "I wanted to create something really visceral and fun, but to talk about Natasha as a human being," said Shortland. "To let audiences see a side of her that they had never seen before."

Black Widow will be the first film entry in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will be rated PG-13. Pugh discusses the emotional core behind the fight sequences throughout the film, but she's also previously stated that this is a film "about the abuse of women" and about "girls who are stolen from around the world." She said, "It's so painful, and it's so important."

Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, O-T Fagbenle as Mason and Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff. The film arrives in theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access July 9.
