Marvel Studios' long-awaited Black Widow solo film is finally set to release in theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access tomorrow, July 9. To mark the occasion, Disney+ has added a new set of solo posters highlighting Natasha Romanoff's history in the Marvel Cinematic Universe thus far, from Iron Man 2 to Avengers: Endgame.

Currently, on the Disney+ streaming service, every MCU film to feature Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow has replaced its main poster/thumbnail with a new Black Widow-themed one that put the focus squarely on the former Russian spy. Each new poster has a black and red background inspired by the aesthetic of Black Widow's solo movie, though features an image of Natasha as she appeared in each respective film.

Johansson made her MCU debut as Black Widow all the way back in Phase One, first appearing in 2010's Iron Man 2. She subsequently reprised her role for the franchise's first big team-up film, 2012's The Avengers. As part of Phase Two, Natasha prominently appeared in both 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier and 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron. Then, in Phase Three, she starred in 2016's Captain America: Civil War, 2018's Avengers: Infinity War and, of course, the climax of the "Infinity Saga," 2019's Avengers: Endgame.

While Natasha met her demise in Endgame, her new solo movie actually takes place beforehand. Marvel Studios' first feature film in two years, as well as the first to be released as part of Phase Four, Black Widow is set between the events of Civil War and Infinity War. It follows Natasha after the Avengers' breakup as she returns home to face the ghosts of her past and, in turn, ends up on a collision course with a brand-new adversary, Taskmaster.

The film is already off to a strong start in the eyes of critics, currently holding a "Certified Fresh" rating of 81 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. Moreover, as the box office recovers from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Fandango reports that Black Widow is leading 2021 in ticket pre-sales on the site thus far.

Directed by Cate Shortland, Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, O-T Fagbenle as Mason and Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff. The film arrives in theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access July 9.
