'Black Panther's' Chadwick Boseman Boards Thriller 'Message From the King'

Chadwick Boseman, who was announced just last week as Marvel's Black Panther, has signed on to star in the revenge thriller Message From the King.

According to Deadline, he'll play Jacob King, a South African seeking vengeance for his sister's murder in Los Angeles. The character will try to find justice -- or mete out his own -- in the six days leading up to his return flight home. The film, from Entertainment One and Ink Factory, will be directed by Fabrice du Welz from a screenplay by Stephen Cornwell and Oliver Butcher.

Boseman will slide this film into his schedule before he suits up as Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War. He reportedly signed a five-picture deal with Marvel to star as T'Challa, the Black Panther. Two of those films have already been confirmed: 2016's Captain America: Civil War and 2017's Black Panther.
