The upcoming War of the Realms will force the assembled heroes of the Marvel Universe to band together to fight back against invading forces from across the Ten Realms. They'll have to work together to fight back against the forces of Malekith that have claimed control of the Earth.

Now, Marvel has revealed which hero might be one of the chief generals by releasing Arthur Adams and Matthew Wilson's cover to War of the Realms #5.

On the cover, Black Panther appears to be leading the assembled heroes of the Marvel Universe. The group include previously confirmed heroes Deadpool, She-Hulk, Ghost Rider, Iron Man, Blade, Daredevil, Captain Marvel and Weapon H. Black Panther is even seen wielding an impressive new blade, and the heroes are all standing atop a massive panther in the fateful battle against the evil forces.

The group is seen staring down an advancing army of undead warriors, which the preview reveals will be commanded by the Enchantress. The issue, titled "Midgard's Last Stand", sets the stage for the final battle of the event.

War of the Realms #5, by Jason Aaron, Russell Dauterman and Matthew Wilson, is scheduled to hit comic stores on Jun. 5. Check out the cover below.
