A clip from behind the scenes of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever shows a red car following a motorcycle cruising down an empty street on the Massachusetts Institute of Technology campus in Cambridge, MA.
The brief video was shared on Twitter by The Marvel Network, mentioning the car and motorcycle as the focal point of the segment. The scene being filmed in the background of the clip reportedly includes a chase involving the Dora Milaje, the formidable female warriors who serve Wakanda as an elite special forces unit. The handheld footage contains sporadic, barely audible voices supposedly belonging to shouting crew members.
Here’s a new set video from the #BlackPantherWakandaForever MIT scene. It involves the red car & motorcycle that we mentioned in an earlier tweet. Short, but enjoy! pic.twitter.com/X2NB9IM1Wf

While remaining quite secretive about the plot of the forthcoming film, Marvel already revealed that the production would be shooting at MIT from Aug. 20-23. Covering multiple nighttime scenes and one daytime scene, the filming at MIT suggests that the prestigious university shall play a role in the story of the first sequel to Black Panther.
This development might not be of much surprise to fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe who may recall that, in the first movie, villain Erik Killmonger is a graduate of the world-renowned research institution. It was also recently confirmed by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige that the Black Panther sequel would see the debut of Dominique Thorne as teen genius Riri Williams, aka. Ironheart, who also attends MIT in the comics.
Yet another familiar face of the MCU, Tony Stark, also calls MIT his alma mater, returning to Cambridge in Captain America: Civil War to demonstrate his B.A.R.F. technology and found the September Foundation scholarship.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is directed by Ryan Coogler and is currently scheduled for release on July 8, 2022.
