Marvel Fan Re-Cuts Black Panther Trailer from Killmonger's Perspective

Everyone loves a good villain, but some audience members were particularly drawn to Michael B. Jordan's depiction of the rightful prince of Wakanda, Erik Killmonger, in Marvel Studios' Black Panther. Now, one enterprising fan has taken it upon themselves to cut a trailer that portrays the events of Black Panther from the perspective of Killmonger.

The trailer sets up Killmonger's journey: He's returning to his roots, the nation on Wakanda, a place he has never even seen before, to secure the means of rebellion. In Wakanda, he deposes the acting king in ritual combat and takes the throne, ushering in a new era of international influence for Wakanda.

The trailer doesn't change any significant story beats, only presents events from the original film in a different light via some crafty edits. The video itself markets the film as Killmonger and features a "coming soon" tag at the end. It's unclear if the video's creator, Kaz Kilroy, will release a more extensive trailer in time.
