New concept art for Ryan Coogler's Black Panther shows what T'Challa's sister Shuri would look like if she wore the Vibranium suit.
The image comes from Marvel's Black Panther: The Art of the Movie, and shows Shuri (played by Letitia Wright) wearing a suit reminiscent of her brother's. Her costume appears to be outfitted with the gauntlets she used during the movie.
Shuri, the princess of Wakanda, was introduced in May 2005 in Marvel Comics' Black Panther #2. However, four years later, she went on to assume the mantle of Black Panther after T'Challa was attacked by the Cabal and left in a comatose state. Producer Nate Moore has referred to Shuri as the "smartest person in the world," noting that she's more intelligent than Tony Stark. Some fans have noted a desire to see Shuri take up step into the role of Black Panther in future films, though it's unclear at this time if she will.
