Black Panther's classic Marvel Cinematic Universe costume gets the official Funko Pop! treatment.
CBR has the exclusive reveal of the Amazon Exclusive Funko Pop! Marvel: Captain America: Civil War - Black Panther. The statue fully captures T'challa's first live-action superhero suit, equipped with the iconic silver necklace and claws. The Black Panther figure is a part of a special set designed to celebrate the MCU's take on Civil War, which saw many fan-favorite heroes clash for the first time while also introducing the King of Wakanda to the Avengers. This Funko Pop! is approximately 4.1-inches tall and comes in a window display box.
"Defend humanity with Marvel’s Pop! Black Panther! Complete your Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Civil War collection with the King of Wakanda in his Vibranium mantle and assemble your team to build a scene of your favorite heroes," reads the official product description. Funko confirmed that every figure in this set will be available to purchase separately and can be displayed in isolation or nested with the other heroes in the Captain America: Civil War collection.

This Black Panther Pop! is the latest reveal to come out of Funko Fair, an annual event that sees the company unveil plenty of new additions to its line-up of vinyl figures. Fans wanting more insight into the year's catalog of Funko Pop! collectibles can also tune into the virtual event when it returns on Jan. 25 and Feb. 1. The rest of the characters featured in the Amazon Exclusive Funko Pop! Marvel: Captain America: Civil War will be revealed in the near future.
Released in 2016, the third solo Captain America movie saw The Avengers split as the Sokovia Accords sought to put an end to anonymous crimefighters. Believing that the government having control over the world's superheroes could lead to trouble, Steve Rogers goes rogue and ends up fighting against the rest of his team. The film is notable for not only introducing T'challa (Chadwick Boseman) to the MCU but also Spider-Man, both of whom fought on the side of Iron Man.
