A series of posters released earlier this month advertising Marvel Studios’ upcoming Black Panther brought together high-definition images of the film’s main cast. Chief among those images was that of T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), unmasked and starring down at his suit’s formidable claws. One thing the image was missing: Black Panther’s iconic mask. An international poster for the film has remedied this omission.

Boseman’s T’Challa was first introduced in Captain America: Civil War as a Wakandan politician whose father was killed in a politically-motivated bombing. Seeking the Winter Solider, who T’Challa believed to be his father’s killer, he eventually found the true killer’s identify and offered him mercy.

In Black Panther, T’Challa returns home only to find two factions vying for control of Wakanda, a technologically advanced isolationist country renowned for its rare metal mining. In order to save his country and prevent a world war from boiling over, he teams up with Martin Freeman’s Everett K. Ross, a CIA agent, and Wakanda’s special policing force – the Dora Milaje.

Debuting in theaters on Feb. 16, 2018, Black Panther is a production of Marvel Studios starring Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa, Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger, Lupita Nyong'o as Nakia, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross, Daniel Kaluuya as W'Kabi, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Winston Duke as M'Baku, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Forest Whitaker as Zuri and Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaue.
