The logo for Marvel Studios' Black Panther 2 was revealed at D23 Expo in Anaheim, California. The logo has the title of the movie written in black text, with blue and purple highlights. The font is the same one that was used for the first Black Panther logo.
"Just announced at #D23Expo, Ryan Coogler returns to direct Marvel Studios’ Black Panther 2, in theaters May 6, 2022," Marvel Studios tweeted after revealing the new logo and the release date of the sequel at the event.
The sequel to 2018's box office hit Black Panther is now in development. No plot details have been revealed for the sequel yet, but the main cast has been confirmed to be reprising their roles. The first Black Panther movie made a record-breaking $1.347 billion at the worldwide box office and became a favorite of both critics and fans.
The Black Panther sequel was officially announced at SDCC in July and is currently in development. Ryan Coogler is returning as writer and director with Chadwick Boseman, Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira and Martin Freeman reprising their roles from the first movie. The film releases May 6, 2022.
