The newest entry in the Black Mirror series, Bandersnatch, is a choose-your-own-adventure narrative that centers around a young video game designer whose reality seems to be breaking down around him. Now, a series of promotional pop-up stores tied to that story have appeared across the United Kingdom, breaking down the barrier between reality and the show in the process.
TV Guide reports that people in major UK cities such as London and Birmingham have been finding stores modeled after Tucker's Newsagent and Games, a video game outlet featured in the film. Although it's not possible to actually enter one of the stores, passersby can look through the windows and get a glimpse of the assortment of games and magazines inside.

Many of the games inside the store are actually Easter eggs that appeared in Bandersnatch. They make reference to other, earlier entries in the Black Mirror franchise, including "U.S.S. Callister," "White Bear" and "San Junipero."
The difficulty involved in making Bandersnatch has resulted in the delay of Black Mirror Season 5. However, the series is still expected to return in 2019.
Directed by David Slade from a script by series creator Charlie Brooker, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch stars Fionn Whitehead, Will Poulter and Asim Chaudhry. Bandersnatch is available to stream through Netflix.
