One of the most recent additions to The CW's superhero lineup, Black Lightning, could be looking to expand its cast with the addition of Emily Briggs, aka Looker.

According to That Hashtag Show, a casting call suggests the series is looking for a Caucasian actress in her early 20s to play Looker, who's described as "a youthful looking woman with a soul that has lived for a long time, whose eyes are ethereal and whose look is penetrating."

Created by Mike W. Barr and Alan Davis, Looker made her DC Comics debut in Batman and the Outsiders #25 in 1985. At first, she was a simple bank teller, but knowledge of her alien ancestry came to her when Halley's Comet passed by Earth, causing her dormant metahuman abilities of telepathy, telekinesis and vampirism, among other things, to activate.

Of course, if this casting call is true, Looker wouldn't be the only character with ties to the Outsiders to join Black Lightning Season 2. In June, it was hinted that the show would introduce "a potentially sociopathic scientist named Dr. Jace," which strongly suggests it could be the Outsiders villain, Doctor Helga Jace, who made her first appearance in 1983’s Batman and the Outsiders #1 by Mike W. Barr and Jim Aparo. Although she first appeared as an ally to the Outsiders, it would later be revealed that she was actually a villain working for the Manhunters.

Returning to The CW in October, Black Lightning was developed by Salim Akil and stars Cress Williams as Jefferson Pierce/Black Lightning, China Anne McClain as Jennifer Pierce, Nafessa Williams as Anissa Pierce/Thunder, Christine Adams as Lynn Stewart, Marvin “Krondon” Jones III as Tobias Whale, Damon Gupton as Billy Henderson and James Remar as Peter Gambi.
