Black Lighting: The CW Series' Villains Debut in Origin Trailer

Black Lightning is back in action in a new "Origin" trailer for the upcoming series. The promo offers some familiar shots of Jefferson Pierce getting back into his iconic suit, as well as some new scenes where villains like Tobias Whale take center stage. The retired superhero also takes down a handful of gun-wielding bad guys along the way.

"Do you remember why you became Black Lightning? You wanted to give the people hope. You wanted the evil that's out there to have something to fear," a voice narrates over the promo.
