"Vixen," the animated CW Seed original web series, has just strengthened its already strong ties to the CW's expansive live-action Arrowverse. In the fourth and latest episode of "Vixen's" second season, a number of familiar faces from "Arrow" make their animated debut. The episode, which is available to stream right now on the CW Seed app, sees Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), Black Canary (Katie Cassidy) and the Atom (Ray Palmer) all guest star in a heist episode of the web-series.

"Episode four is a lot of fun because it takes us from Detroit to Star City," said executive producer Marc Guggenheim in a behind-the-scenes look at the all-star episode. "We get to see the animated incarnation of Felicity Smoak. That was probably the character who I got the most requests on. Everyone wanted to see the animated version of Felicity. She basically helps Kuasa and Mari in what is essentially a heist episode."

The episode is also notable for marking Katie Cassidy's return as Laurel Lance (a.k.a. Black Canary) following her character's death in "Arrow" last season. Guggenheim also said that all the "Arrow" actors were more than willing to lend their voices to the project.

"It's Also an opportunity for us to see Laurel Lance and Ray Palmer as Black Canary and the Atom," added Guggenheim. "It was so great. Obviously every single cast member who we asked to participate said yes and everyone was game for it. I think they were kind of tickled to do an animated version and one of the fun parts about the project was when the designs came in for each of the characters I sent them to the actors so they could see what their animated incarnations look like. I think they really got a kick out of it."

Other Arrowverse actors -- including Stephen Amell (Arrow), Carlos Valdes (Cisco), Grant Gustin (Flash), Franz Drameh and Victor Garber (Firestorm) -- have also voiced animated versions of their characters on Vixen.

Vixen herself has already made the jump to live-action, as voice actress Megalyn EK appeared as Vixen in the fourth season of "Arrow." Currently, Maisie Richardson-Sellers plays Amaya, the grandmother of the animated Vixen, on the live-action CW series "Legends of Tomorrow."

Season two of "Vixen" is slated to run for a total of six episodes. For Vixen's live-action adventures, you can watch "Legends of Tomorrow" on Thursdays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW.
