Dwayne Johnson's latest behind-the-scenes photo from Black Adam teases the massive scale of the film.

The photo, posted to Johnson's Instagram, features a soundstage strewn with rubble. A massive column stands tall in the far left of the photo. "Wanted to show you guys this cool shot of our enormous sound stages and massive production efforts and scale," Johnson said. "We're hitting our midway point stride and our A-Team production crew continue to showcase why they're the best in our industry."

Johnson also said that the production was "inspiring" to work on and closed his post with a simple message: "The hierarchy of power in the DC UNIVERSE is about to change." A similar message was aired in New York City's Times Square, where Black Adam's current release date was revealed. Previous set photos have revealed the tomb that Black Adam was imprisoned in, along with a brief glimpse of the costume Johnson wears as the titular anti-hero.

Black Adam centers on Teth-Adam, who was given powers by the wizard Shazam to liberate his nation of Khandaq. However, Shazam wound up imprisoning Adam after a massive fight between the two. In the present day, Adam is liberated from his imprisonment and battles the Justice Society as he intends to rule Khandaq once more.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, Black Adam stars Dwayne Johnson, Noah Centineo, Aldis Hodge, Quintessa Swindell, Pierce Brosnan, Marwan Kenzari, Sarah Shahi, James Cusati-Moyer and Bodhi Sabongui. The film arrives in theaters July 29, 2022.
