The Justice Society of America will make its cinematic debut in Black Adam, including Albert "Al" Rothstein/Atom Smasher, played by Noah Centineo. However, while the film is still a ways off, Centineo revealed he already has his superhero physique.

On Instagram, Centineo posted two images showing off his muscular build, jokingly asking, "The question is.. should I start training again?"

Debuting in 1983's All-Star Squadron #25 by Roy Thomas, Jerry Ordway and Mike Machlan as Nuklon, Al Rothstein is the godson of the Golden Age Atom, Al Pratt, as well as a founding member of the original Infinity, Inc., a team mostly made up of members with ties to the JSA. The character is a metahuman who not only possesses superhuman strength but can also grow to incredible sizes. Al formed a closeness with Black Adam during the latter's brief stint with the JSA, despite being rivals at first, due to the latter validating the former's murder of the time-controlling evildoer Extant in order to save his mother's life in the past.

Atom Smasher has already appeared in live-action once before, showing up in Season 2 of The Flash.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, Black Adam stars Dwayne Johnson and Noah Centineo. The film arrives in theaters Dec. 22, 2021.
