It was a big weekend for DC Comics video games with the announcement of "Infinite Crisis," a Massive Online Battle Arena game and Little Orbit releasing the final box art for "Young Justice: Legacy" -- and NetherRealm Studios' highly anticipated "Injustice: Gods Among Us" fighting game wasn't left out. The studio showcased the game at this weekend's PAX East 2013 in Boston, where Black Adam was officially announced as joining the fray. However, sharp-eyed viewers watching the live-stream of the event also noticed another addition to the roster. EventHubs.com posted a quick screenshot of the character in action on Lex Luthor's challenge screen.

Killer Frost seems an appropriate, if slightly obscure, addition to "Injustice" considering NetherRealm's previous work with "Mortal Kombat," which features the popular ice-powered character Sub-Zero.

The emblem for Ares, the God of War, was also seen on challenge menus showcased at PAX East (in a video posted by YouTube user MKIceVsFire, but no actual gameplay footage or screenshot of the character was seen. Should Ares enter the "Injustice" roster, he's largely believed to be the final addition to the base version of the game, bringing the grand total to 24 playable characters at launch.
