The Justice Society of America will play a large role in the upcoming Black Adam film. One actor has squashed any chances of his involvement in the film, having a little fun with its star in the process. Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to say that he would not be donning Hawkman's wings in the upcoming DC project."Although I generally do whatever the hell [Dwayne Johnson] tells me to do, I would however love to be in Zack Snyder's Justice League movie and I've heard I may already be in it?" Reynolds wrote. In response, Dwayne Johnson said, "You ARE playing Hawkman and that's that," adding, "You're also Deadpool, Green Lantern (when you want because you own the intellectual property), you're in the Zack Snyder JL movie and you're also [Kevin Hart]'s dad."RELATED: Black Adam: Noah Centineo's Giant-Size Atom Smasher Role, Explained

Reynolds and Johnson have previously worked together on Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbes and Shaw; director David Leitch also helmed Deadpool 2. Despite Johnson's humorous response, it can be assumed that Reynolds will not appear as Hawkman in the upcoming film. More details about Black Adam will be revealed during the DC FanDome event on August 22.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, Black Adam stars Dwayne Johnson and Noah Centineo. The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters Dec. 22, 2021.
