With casting beginning for DC's Birds of Prey, three names are rumored to have been shortlisted for key roles in the ensemble film.

Understandably, the upcoming superhero movie is looking to cast actors around star Margot Robbie's age for the titular super-team, and is rumored to have shortlisted two potential actors for the part of Black Canary/Dinah Lance: Killing Eve star Jodie Comer and Vanessa Kirby, who appeared on Netflix's The Crown and can also be seen in Mission: Impossible -- Fallout.

There are also rumors that Baywatch star Alexandra Daddario is expected to read for the part of Huntress/Helena Bertinelli. In addition to starring in last year's Baywatch film, Daddario also appeared in 2015's San Andreas and the acclaimed first season of HBO's True Detective.

The new cast members would join Robbie reprising her Suicide Squad role of Harley Quinn along with an expected actor to play Barbara Gordon. The film is reportedly scouting for filming locations to begin principal photography in January.
