Audition tapes for the upcoming Birds of Prey film have surfaced online, hinting at the characters to be featured in the film.

Two audition videos from the film have been put online and shared by ComicBookMovie. Both of the videos showcase Jeanine Serralles (Inside Llewyn Davis) reading for the part of a cop named “Lopez”. It’s assumed that this is just a cover for Renee Montoya, who has been confirmed for the film. During the first audition, she reveals that she’s investigating a crossbow wielding assassin who has arrived in Gotham City, which is obviously a reference to Huntress.

The second audition tape sees Serralles talking about a man named Cecil Rockas, who she believes is behind a series of attacks on other organized crime families. With Black Mask being reported to be the villain of the film, it would make sense for Rockas to be used as a cover name for his actual name, Roman Sionis.

Previous reports about Birds of Prey have suggested the cast will include Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. Barbara Gordon (but not in the Batgirl role), Black Canary, Huntress, Renee Montoya, and Cassandra Cain will also be featured in the team. No actresses have been cast yet in any of the roles besides Robbie's Harley. The film is reportedly set to film next year with director Cathy Yen (Dead Pigs).
