Following reports a teaser trailer for the DC Extended Universe's Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) will soon release, footage from the film has leaked online.

The teaser, which has been circulating on social media, appears legitimate and contains a major reference to IT: Chapter Two, which it will reportedly be released alongside next week. The length of the teaser also matches earlier reports, coming in just under 40 seconds. Whether or not this footage will actually be that which releases and when exactly it will come out remain unconfirmed at this time.

A sizzle reel of the various characters in the ensemble film surfaced at the start of principal photography this past January, but that didn't reveal anything about the film's story. Principal photography wrapped this past April, and re-shoots are currently ongoing.

Directed by Cathy Yan from a script by Christina Hodson, Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) stars Margot Robbie, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Rosie Perez, Ewan McGregor, Steven Williams, Derek Wilson, Dana Lee, Francois Chau, Charlene Amoia, Chris Messina and Matthew Willig. The film is scheduled for release on Feb. 7, 2020.
