A new photo, which purportedly comes from behind the scenes of Warner Bros.' Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), seems to suggest that the upcoming DC film will feature a roller derby sequence.

The photo in question was posted to the subreddit r/DC_Cinematic and features three supposed stunt doubles from Birds of Prey sporting roller skates, with a caption that reads, "Yes, there will be a roller derby scene in the movie."

While the skaters' faces are blocked by emojis, additional captions on the photo explain that the two women on the right are working as stunt doubles for Rosie Perez's Renee Montoya and Jurnee Smollett-Bell's Black Canary. The photo claims that doubles for Mary Elizabeth Winstead's Huntress and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn were also present.

If this photo and the information associated with it are, in fact, legitimate, it would hardly come as a surprise. After all, in the DC Comics universe, Harley Quinn is a known competitor in the world of roller derby. And given Harley's prominent role in Birds of Prey, a scene showing off this area of her skill set doesn't sound too far-fetched.

On the note of the photo's legitimacy, it is worth mentioning that the user who posted to Reddit has previously posted other, more easily-verifiable photos from the set of Birds of Prey, such as those featuring Harley Quinn's star-spangled outfit and of her at an exotic pet store.

At any rate, fans will still have to wait until around this time next year to see all of what the film has to offer.
