With two months until its premiere, Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) has begun to ramp up its promotional campaign, unveiling a new poster with two dramatically different references.

The upcoming DC Extended Universe film shared the new poster through its social media platforms, with the poster homaging the classical Italian Renaissance painting "The Birth of Venus" by artist Sandro Botticelli from sometime in the 15th century. In lieu of the Roman goddess emerging from a seashell, Harley and Cassandra Cain are seen posturing while the heavenly host are replaced by teammates Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya.

In addition to all the nonsensical imagery, including lipstick-stained hand grenades and graffitied paper lanterns, Harley's trusty stuffed beaver, Bernie, can be seen next to her. The taxidermied rodent was introduced during Jimmy Palmiotti, Amanda Conner and Chad Hardin's comic book run on the character during the New 52 era, with Harley carrying on full conversations with the long-dead figure.

The poster is the latest in a series of irreverent, stylized promotional artwork for the film, reflecting its more freewheeling, anarchic tone as Harley leads the team against the fearsome mobster Black Mask.
