Many theaters in various countries across the globe will celebrate the release of both Wonder Woman 1984 and Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) with exclusive theater merchandise.The images of upcoming merchandise were shared on Twitter and look to include exclusive popcorn bags, figurines, plush toys, key chains and more. One of the most eye-catching pieces of merchandise is a popcorn bucket made to look like the mallet used by Harley Quinn.
Both Wonder Woman 1984 and Birds of Prey were recently featured on Fandango's list of most anticipated films of 2020. Wonder Woman 1984 even took one of the top spots on the list along with Marvel's upcoming film, Black Widow.Â
Birds of Prey is already anticipated to have a great opening weekend, with early predictions saying it will make $49-$55 million at the box office.
Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Kristen Wiig as Barbara Minerva/Cheetah, Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord and Natasha Rothwell. The film opens June 5, 2020.
Directed by Cathy Yan from a script by Christina Hodson, Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) stars Margot Robbie, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Rosie Perez, Ewan McGregor, Ella Jay Basco, Steven Williams, Derek Wilson, Dana Lee, Francois Chau, Charlene Amoia, Chris Messina and Matthew Willig. The film is scheduled for release on Feb. 7.
