New set photos from the Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) show stars Rosie Perez and Margot Robbie in the streets of Los Angeles.
Perez is playing the DC character Renee Montoya, a detective for the Gotham City Police Department. In the new photos, Perez can be seen running through the streets with her gun drawn. She is joined by Robbie, who's wearing the alternate costume from the trailer and older set photos.

Renee Montoya made her first appearance in the Batman: Animated Series and was later added to the comics. She is frequently portrayed as a detective disgusted by the corruption within the GCPD.

Perez has a long acting career, first appearing in the film Do the Right Thing by Spike Lee. She has also worked as a talk show host, author, choreographer and dancer.
Directed by Cathy Yan from a script by Christina Hodson, Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) stars Margot Robbie, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Rosie Perez, Ewan McGregor, Steven Williams, Derek Wilson, Dana Lee, Francois Chau, Charlene Amoia, Chris Messina and Matthew Willig. The film is scheduled to be released February 7, 2020.
