Curb Your Enthusiasm alum Dana Lee is set to play a character named "Doc" in Warner Bros.' upcoming DC film Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).

In a recent interview, Dana offered up some new details regarding his character. While it wasn't previously mentioned just how big a part Doc would play in the film, it now seems the character will serve as a caring parental figure to Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn.

"[Doc owns] this little restaurant and [his] residence is above there," Lee told Your Entertainment Corner. "Every time Harley Quinn gets in trouble with the Joker, she would come and stay with me. And I'm like her -- like she says in the story -- I'm her Taiwanese grandfather she never had."

Lee has over four decades of acting experience, appearing films such as Pineapple Express, Lethal Weapon 4 and Rambo: First Blood Part II. More recently, he has appeared on the television shows Dr. Ken and Hawaii Five-0.
