"Birdman's" Riseborough In Talks to Take Flight as "Crow" Villain

Andrea Riseborough is currently in negotiations to play the main villain in the upcoming reboot of "The Crow."

"Birdman" actress Andrea Riseborough is reportedly in negotiations to play the main villain in the upcoming reboot of "The Crow." According to Deadline, if cast, Riseborough would play a crime syndicate leader called Top Dollar, a character originally depicted as male in James O'Barr's original graphic novel. The role was played by Michael Wincott in the original "Crow" feature film.

Riseborough is the latest addition to a cast that includes Jack Huston, who is cast in the film's title role, and Jessica Brown Findlay. "Crow" creator James O'Barr, attached to the Relativity Media film as a consultant, has described the movie as more of a "re-imagining" than a reboot.
