Bird Box Honest Trailer Begs For Bandersnatch Options

Bird Box may have been one of the top Netflix original series of 2018, but not everyone was happy with the movie. Luckily, those disillusioned fans have Honest Trailers to remind them that they are not alone. As with most Honest Trailers, the video shreds this Netflix original.

In reference to Netflix's choose-your-own-adventure film Bandersnatch, the This Honest Trailer wishes Bird Box let viewers choose their own path with more 'Danger River Adventure' and less "cross between The Happening and the first act of every zombie movie."

Bird Box tells the story of a pandemic that causes mass suicides all over the world. Much like The Happening, victims are driven to take their own lives due to an unseen antagonist that causes them to see their greatest fears. However, Honest Trailers questions why the antagonists can move things, but can't get into houses. The video also asks why it can attack people who are blindfolded.

Honest Trailers also goes into the biggest complaint about Bird Box: the way that Sandra Bullock treated her kids. Luckily, according to the trailer, she learns not to be such "an a-hole" and tries to be a good person, despite all the good people dying in the movie.

The Honest Trailers Bird Box trailer also proposes what they believe might have been scarier than even the Netflix movie itself: the idea that what drove people to death was watching the dancing old man from classic Six Flags commercials.

Streaming on Netflix, Bird Box stars Sandra Bullock, Trevante Rhodes, Jacki Weaver, Rosa Salazar, Danielle Macdonald, Lil Rel Howery, Tom Hollander, BD Wong, Sarah Paulson, Colson Baker and John Malkovich.
