Principal photography on the long-awaited third installment of the comedy franchise wrapped this past August, reuniting returning stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter for the long-gestating sequel.

Plot details are still under wraps, but the film is expected to see the eponymous duo deal with middle age and parenthood as they realize they have not yet written a song to save human civilization as promised in earlier installments. The time discrepancy results in changes to the space-time continuum and the arrival of familiar and new characters from across the timeline.
