New cover art for Opus Comics' Bill & Ted Roll the Dice shows the two Wyld Stallyns rockers head out on a Dungeons & Dragons-like quest.

The new covers come from artist Lukas Ketner. In the artwork, Bill and Ted are heading down into Hell, battling demons and meeting some familiar faces they've encountered on past adventures. One of the covers shows Rufus, the pair's time-traveling mentor from the future, fighting a monster on his own while his time machine/phone booth flies behind him.

Bill and Ted were first introduced in 1989's Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure by director Stephen Herek. Played by Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves, the two lovably dumb teenagers find themselves traveling across time when Rufus (George Carlin) appears and introduces them to a number of historical figures, including Abraham Lincoln, Genghis Khan and several others.

The two returned in 1991's Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, directed by Peter Hewitt, which saw the Wyld Stallyns venture into Hell and befriend the Grim Reaper (William Saddler), himself. Winter and Reeves returned to the franchise in 2020 with Bill & Ted Face the Music, which saw the two of them set out to create the greatest rock song ever made while their daughters, played by Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine, set out on a time-traveling crusade of their own. Bill & Ted Face the Music also stars Saddler, Barry's Anthony Carrigan, What We Do in the Shadows' Kristen Schaal and more.

Bill & Ted Roll the Dice #1 releases June 15 from Opus Comics. Additional covers come from Matthew Skiff, Pio Paulo Santana, Tom Feister, Ryan Christensen and Carlos Dattoli. The Final Order Cutoff (FOC) date for Bill & Ted Roll the Dice #2 is June 20.
