<i>Bill &amp; Ted 3</i> Script Is Written, Safe With Alex Winter

How else could one respond to news of forward movement on the Bill & Ted sequel front? Back at the beginning of this month, star Keanu Reeves revealed that the planned sequel's script was "six weeks away from a draft." His words must have lit a fire, as co-star Alex Winter tweeted over the weekend that the script is complete and in his hands.

Writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon are back for this third movie after having written the first two. Keanu gave a broad overview of the story's direction in his recent interview. "When we last got together, part of it was that Bill and Ted were supposed to have written the song that saved the world, and it hasn’t happened. So [in the next film] they’ve now become kind of possessed by trying to do that. Then there’s an element of time and they have to go back."

So, as I said at the start ... Station.
