Acclaimed indie filmmaker Jim Jarmusch's zombie movie The Dead Don't Die starring Bill Murray has now received a release date.

According to Variety, Focus Features has slated Jarmusch's The Dead Don't Die for release on June 14. Starring alongside Bill Murray in the film is an ensemble cast made up of Selena Gomez, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, RZA and Danny Glover, among others. An official synopsis for the film has not yet been revealed.

Previous reports have indicated Murray, Sevigny and Driver will be portraying police officers caught up in a zombie crisis. Principal photography for The Dead Don't Die began in July of last year in New York City.

News of Jarmusch's foray into the world of zombies was announced by Murray in an interview with Philly.com in March of 2018. "It’s a zombie movie. Jim Jarmusch has written a zombie script that’s so hilarious and it has a cast of great actors," Murray revealed. "It’s titled The Dead Don’t Die, and it shoots over the summer. But, no, I will not play a zombie." The Dead Don't Die will be Murray's fourth film collaboration with Jarmusch.

Written and directed by Jim Jarmusch, The Dead Don't Die stars Bill Murray, Selena Gomez, Adam Driver, Chloë Sevigny, Tilda Swinton, Steve Buscemi, Austin Butler, Caleb Landry Jones, Rosie Perez, Sara Driver, Carol Kane, Iggy Pop, RZA and Danny Glover. The film opens June 14.
