Professional wrestler Bill Goldberg will join The CW's slate of DCTV superhero programming with a two-episode stint on this season of The Flash.RELATED: Crisis On Earth-X: Everything We Know About the Arrowverse CrossoverGoldberg made the announcement on his Twitter account when a fan asked if the rumor of his appearance was true. He responded with a resounding, "2 episodes for my boy!"

Previous wrestlers to make an appearance in what is known as the Arrowverse (The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow) are the "Rated R Superstar" Edge (Adam Copeland) and Cody Rhodes.

It is not yet known what two episodes of The Flash Goldberg will appear on, or what character he will portray. One would think with his imposing physical demeanor, Goldberg would be positioned to bring any number of DC characters to life. If he follows in Edge and Rhodes' footsteps of playing a DC villain, then we'll likely see Goldberg square off against the Scarlet Speedster in a test of strength versus speed.
