The third and final film in the franchise was written by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon and took over 30 years to create. The movie's script went through many revisions until both leads -- Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves -- signed on to the script. It also took a while for studios to understand that their third installment wasn't going to be "cynical," but sought to maintain its wholesome feel. Matheson and Solomon wrote each of the franchise's three films.

Bill & Ted Face the Music brings Bill and Ted back together as they realize they haven't yet written the song to unite humanity as predicted in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and its direct sequel Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey. Directed by Dean Parisot and written by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, Bill & Ted Face the Music stars Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter, Anthony Carrigan, Kid Cudi, Brigette Lundy-Paine and Samara Weaving. The film is now on premium video on demand. Bill & Ted Face the Music will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on Nov. 10.
