Bill & Ted Face the Music has found its new antagonist in television actor Anthony Carrigan, who has signed on to play the eagerly anticipated sequel's currently unnamed villain.

Carrigan previously starred in the acclaimed HBO comedy Barry as the relatively good-natured Chechen gangster NoHo Hank and on Fox's Gotham as the serial killer Victor Zsasz.

While details on Carrigan's character are currently being kept under wraps, the upcoming film will revisit the eponymous rockers, now middle-aged and looking to write the prophesied song that will save humanity from itself with the help of their daughters, historical figures, and music legends.

A sequel to 1989's Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and 1991's Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, Bill & Ted Face the Music is expected to begin principal photography next month, reuniting original stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter.
