WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Big Sky Season 1, Episode 6, "The Wolves Are Always Out for Blood," now available on ABC.

ABC's Big Sky has left its other human trafficker, Ron (Brian Geraghty), frantic as his worst nightmare is now coming true. With his partner, the Montana highway patrol officer Rick (John Carroll Lynch), in police custody and a coma after being shot in the head, Ron's worried he'll someday wake up and sell him out.

As a result, the sinister Ron has a new, deadly mission and it involves cleaning up the mess he made in the first place.

Rick always told Ron he's to blame because by taking Danielle and Grace, it got Ryan Phillipe's Cody involved. Rick was forced to kill the ex-cop, and since then private investigators Cassie and Jenny -- two women Cody loved -- started chasing the case fervently. It culminated with Cassie putting a bullet in Rick's head and recovering the missing girls.

But as Ron's mom, Helen, has told him, problems are just beginning. Not only are the girls working with sketch artists, but they've revealed a trucker partnered with Rick. Ron's job is in jeopardy as state troopers are canvassing the roads looking for a suspect that fits the bill. It's caused him to cut and dye his blonde hair black, repaint his truck and change the license. Clearly, he's panicking and while he seems to have a back-up plan, his emotions could see him making a mistake -- which Helen knows.

It gets worse because now that he knows Rick's alive, he wants to break into his home and steal incriminating evidence. The cops didn't find it and while Ron knows where it is, what makes things so sketchy is he was secretly seducing Merrilee, Rick's wife. Granted, she doesn't want him around anymore but seeing as she hates her husband and has no idea of Ron's real identity, he can woo her again. Sadly, he knows to cover his tracks: the psycho might need to kill Merrilee, too.

It's why Ron is also following Jerrie, the other lady they kidnapped, spying on her as she's working with Cassie and Jenny. She wants both men brought to justice, and Ron has gone as far as to leave a threat on her door, telling her "You Don't Learn!" to scare her off. At this point, it's clear he wants to kill Jerrie because whilst everyone else are outsiders and could leave Montana as he lays low and the case goes cold, she lives there and could always spot him.

Last but not least, with Rick coming out the coma, Ron knows he has to kill him, too. Rick already threatened to take him down if the ship ever sank, so a desperate Ron will definitely want that loose end tied up.

Big Sky stars Katheryn Winnick, Ryan Phillips, Kylie Bunbury, Brian Geraghty and Valerie Mahaffey. It airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
