WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Big Sky Season 1, Episode 4, "Unfinished Business," now available on ABC.

ABC's Big Sky hasn't pulled any punches when it comes to the sick, twisted kidnappers in Rick (John Carroll Lynch) and Ron (Brian Geraghty), who are running a human trafficking ring in Montana. They've made the mistake of snatching the wrong girls in Danielle and Grace, however, which has brought Jenny and Cassie, two private investigators into the fray.

Now, while there's no concrete proof, all red flags point to Rick, and Cassie, in particular, pings him as the ultimate suspect after Cody goes missing. However, while Cassie and Jenny's antics work out well in the latest episode, there's a huge twist when they locate the missing victims.

It hasn't been easy for Cassie and Jenny to get along due to the love triangle with Cody recently. He left the force and Jenny started having an affair with Cassie, his partner at their private P.I. firm, leaving a lot of tension in the air. But when Rick killed Cody after he inquired about the girls, Cassie and Jenny put their differences aside for the greater good.

Jenny digs up federal files, clues about shady truckers, a cult-like church down by Rick's zone, and decides to go undercover as a prostitute. They're the ones who go missing the most, but the sting operation doesn't go according to plan as she cannot find the perp. However, Cassie's already put a contingency plan into play in case they couldn't nail the trucker committing the abductions, planting a tracker on Rick's vehicle. After all, the way he's hateful towards her, making racist comments and yapping on about Blue Lives Matter, she knows he's up to something.

This leads to Rick panicking, as superiors are also coming down on his erratic behavior, so he heads to the site where the girls are kept. Grace is gravely wounded after a failed escape, while Jerrie and Danielle are barely hanging in there emotionally, leaving Rick ready to kill them and cut his losses. Cassie and Jenny arrive in time, but the warehouse is deserted, leaving fans wondering where the container holding the ladies is. But as they begin to pound and make noise, sensing someone's around, it seems as if the show is setting up for a heroic reunion. However, it's a fake-out as the container's underground with soundproof padding. Cassie kneels down, hearing something, but Jenny can't and she decides they better leave before they're discovered snooping.

Getting caught would alert Rick that they're onto him, so they decided to head out. As it turns out, Ron patched the container up after Grace's escape and made sure if someone stumbles into their lair, they can't hear the screaming. It proves Ron's not to be underestimated and why Rick might not be the mastermind many assumed. As for Cassie and Jenny, while at least they fingered this place as a hotspot, it remains to be seen if they'll venture here again as the impression so far is that it's a dead end.

Big Sky stars Katheryn Winnick, Ryan Phillippe, Kylie Bunbury, Brian Geraghty and Valerie Mahaffey. It airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
