Big Hero 6: The Series Season 3 has officially been added to Disney+, meaning that as of Friday, March 19, the entire show is available to stream on the platform.

Loosely based on the Marvel Comics team of the same name created by Man of Action, Walt Disney Animation Studios' Big Hero 6 premiered in theaters in 2014. Produced by Disney Television Animation, Big Hero 6: The Series serves as a follow-up to the film, chronicling the continuing heroic adventures of Hiro Hamada, Baymax, Go Go Tomago, Honey Lemon, Wasabi and Fred in the fictional city of San Fransokyo. Season 3's arrival on Disney+ coincides with the premiere of Marvel Studios' new original series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Big Hero 6: The Series originally premiered on Disney XD on Nov. 20, 2017 before jumping ship to Disney Channel. The show returned to Disney XD for its third and final season, which premiered on Sept. 21, 2020. The series finale, "Krei-oke Night"/"The Mascot Upshot," aired last month on Feb. 15.

In addition to the original 2014 film and now the entirety of the follow-up show, a series of Big Hero 6 shorts -- also produced by Disney Television Animation -- is currently on Disney+ as well. As part of its expansion into television, Walt Disney Animation Studios is producing another spinoff series titled Baymax! for Disney+, which is expected to arrive sometime in 2022.
