The cast of the animated television show Big Hero 6: The Series reunited for a video conference to announce the show's third and final season, which will conclude on Monday, February 15 (7:30 p.m. ET/PT) on Disney XD and in DisneyNOW.

The main cast got together over video chat to mark the series finale, as well as talk about their characters and discuss some of their favorite memories from working on the show. Kicking off the conversation was series star Ryan Potter, who plays the role of young tech genius Hiro Hamada alongside his lovable robot Baymax, voiced by Scott Adsit. Also joining the reunion was Jamie Chung (Go Go Tomago), Genesis Rodriguez (Honey Lemon), Khary Payton (Wasabi) and Brooks Wheelan (Fred).

The mood was warm and excited as the voice actors asked one another questions such as, "who is most likely to have a special handshake" (which was answered with "Payton"), and "who is most likely to own a Baymax plushy" ("Chung"). Some of their favorite memories were of when they could record their voice work together in one room before the distancing demands of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

While the cast fielded the lighthearted questions, they also unearthed the more involved and substantial aspects of creating the Big Hero 6 series and what has likely made the show resonate so deeply with its audience. When Adsit offered his costars the chance to fill in the blank after "Big Hero 6 has been...", Potter was quick to remark that "it has been representative of so many voices and it was cool to see all of that represented on screen."

Adsit answered his own question saying, "It has been very uplifting for me who see characters who are smart and aren't ashamed of it and use their smarts to make the world, and each other, better." The entire cast nodded in unison when Rodriguez described the series as "childhood dreams accomplished."
