Disney, Marvel and Star Wars fans, brace yourselves for a weekend that surely will be packed with news and announcements. The D23 Expo, the official Disney fan event, begins this morning in Anaheim, California, but even before the festivities get into full swing, a few sneak peeks have merged from the exhibition floor.

ComingSoon has photos like the one above teasing Big Hero 6's line-up. The animated feature directed by Don Hall is based the Marvel characters Steven T. Seagle and Duncan Rouleau. Walt Disney Animation's first adaptation of a Marvel property, Big Hero 6 opens Nov. 7, 2014.

Movieweb reported that Pixar and Walt Disney Animation chief creative officer John Lasseter had a few things to say about the project. "It's based upon a very short series of comic books and it's six comic books," he said. "They're out of the Marvel Universe, but more of a Japanese manga style. We're creating something based upon that so it's really a Disney Animation production. A loose adaptation - like all adaptations are. They almost have to be."

Big Hero 6 wasn't the only project teased early, though. /Film snapped several pictures of something dubbed Star Wars Orange Harvest in the Imagineering section. The colorful title refers to the title Blue Harvest, a fake title George Lucas used while shooting Return of the Jedi.

Considering the displays location, it seems as though Disney is looking to beef up Star Wars' presence at the theme parks. It's expected that more information will be revealed on Saturday.
