Following the release of its first TV spot earlier this month, "Poltergeist" took to Twitter with a poster that both justifies the fear of clowns and pays homage to the 1982 film.

Produced by horror icon Sam Raimi, 2015's "Poltergeist" stars Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jared Harris, Saxon Sharbino, Jane Adams, Kyle Catlett and Kennedi Clements. Gil Kenan will direct.

"Poltergeist" arrives on July 24.
