A piece of fan art for the Daedric Prince Azura caught the eye of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim developer Bethesda Softworks. The official Twitter account for Bethesda shared an illustration of Azura drawn by artist Avri, along with well-wishes to The Elder Scrolls fans. "May you all receive Azura's blessing to carry you through the week," it wrote in the caption. The image depicted the Daedric Prince clad in the same regalia of her shrine's statue in Skyrim. Her robe has been fittingly colored in equal shades of black and white, with Azura also holding the sun and the moon in reference to her role as the benevolent Daedric Prince of Dusk and Dawn.Related: Why The Elder Scrolls VI Should Be Set in Hammerfell

Daedric Princes are powerful godlike beings who rule over the realm of Oblivion. Among their ranks, Azura is considered the most merciful of the lords and is particularly exalted by Khajiit and Dunmer. In Skyrim, players can find one of her shrines on a mountain south of Winterhold, which can be identified by the massive statue of Azura overlooking the grounds. Players may also become her champion by completing her questline, wherein a loyal Dragonborn will be rewarded with Azura's Star -- a valuable artifact for those leveling their skills in enchanting -- and the chance to recruit the Dunmer mage Aranea Ienith as a companion.

Players can also embark on Azura's quest together with the recently released cooperative mod Skyrim Together Reborn, which allows up to seven heroes to enjoy the game in a seamless multiplayer environment. The mod developers still urged users to be cautious of unworkable bugs during their playthrough, as Skyrim wasn't designed for multiplayer gameplay and expected the mod to break a few questlines. Skyrim Together Reborn is available for download on Nexus Mods and supports the latest versions of Skyrim - Special Edition and Skyrim Anniversary Edition.

Previous reports also claimed Skyrim's highly anticipated sequel, The Elder Scrolls VI, might not be launching anytime soon. Bethesda's HR generalist Fanny Manset revealed the next mainline entry into the venerable The Elder Scrolls series remained in pre-production, leaving fans wondering when the studio will begin full-scale development. Manset did not clarify if the studio was already hiring additional staff or if developers were still generating concept art for the sequel.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
