Mystique is a slippery character. While she played the hero in the X-Men movies, she hasn't been quite so noble in the comics. She's a shape-shifting mutant. That makes her capable of assuming any living form. But in her natural state, she is a lovely shade of blue with bright red hair.
Mystique has a unique costume which she wears much of the time. It's simple but includes skulls. These cosplayers have taken on the challenge of the blue body paint to portray the sneaky, talented woman.
10 Danithegoblin
Danithegoblin has gotten around the body paint by wearing leggings and a long-sleeved shirt. A totally valid and creative option. She wears the classic white dress, the red wig, and the belt of skulls around her hips.
Danithegoblin is a Texan cosplayer who seems to have a huge amount of fun creating and portraying the characters she chooses. She also does a great Beast Boy!
9 Shiera
Mystique doesn't always wear her white dress. During House of M, she wore a military-inspired suit as part of the Red Guard. She has her scarlet hair pulled back, and her fists raised. This Mystique is ready for battle.

8 Dominique W. (Mikettedw)
Mystique wears this cute skirt and tank ensemble in the animated show X-Men Evolution. Dominique even has the fingerless gloves to match. When paired with the expression on her face that screams, "I'm classy but am ready to take you down," she has the perfect look to be Mystique. Photographer Joshua Astacio captured this moment.
Dominique is actually an amazing Michael Jackson impersonator. In addition to cosplaying and acting, she is also a cosplay photographer. Dominique has a lot on her plate, but if she's anything like Mystique, she can handle it.
7 Cara (Carastrophic_creates)
Back to Mystique in her classic dress. Well, 'dress' isn't quite the right word given that the two slits on either side run up nearly to her waist. It's more of a leotard with flaps, really. But Carastrophic_creates wears it beautifully. She even made her eyes blank like Mystique's.

6 Jenny Cap Cosplay
Jenny Cap only photographed her Mystique cosplay from the waist up but that's enough to demonstrate her incredible skill. She's included an example of Mystique from the comics to show just how accurate her work is. Even her contouring mimics Mystique's gorgeous bone structure.
Jenny Cap is an Italian artist and cosplayer. She has incredible skills with make-up. Though her projects undoubtedly take much work, she makes the final product look effortless.
5 Blatant G Cosplay
Blatant G's Mystique carries a huge gun. Mystique is no stranger to guns, that's for sure. Blatant G wears the classic white dress and gloves. Photographer Nigel Hart captured this shot of her looking fierce at MCM London Comic Con in 2018.
Blatant G is not just a single woman cosplayer. The moniker actually represents a whole family of cosplayers. Cosplaying is better when done together! The two adults in the family make a great Starlord and Gamora.
4 Yohanix Cosplay
Yohanix paints a beautiful picture as the sly Mystique. She's dressed in classic white, but she's certainly no angel. She wears golden skulls around her waist as a warning. One thing that's crucial for Mystique cosplayers to have is a cold, blank look on their face. That look is nearly as iconic of the villain as her blue skin.

Andy E. Ramirex's Mystique is equally valid. He's got the white dress, the skulls, the red hair (and beard!). It's all covered and comic-accurate. He even made the black leather look too! Both versions of Mystique look amazing.
Andy E. Ramirex specializes in genderbent cosplays. He has a glorious bisexual-pride Spider-Man he calls "Biperman". His Cheetah is particularly impressive as well.
2 Ladysorrow68
Ladysorry68 is back on a cosplay list as Mystique this time. She has her heels on, her guns cocked, and her face blank. She's ready to stride into battle. As Ladysorrow68 quotes, "Raven Darkholme is not a woman to be trifled with."

1 Giulietta Zawadzki (beaupeepcosplay)
Giulietta Zawadzki created a gorgeous version of Mystique. She wears classic white, but her red hair reaches to her waist, which is less common. Her eyelashes are nearly as long as her hair! Why can't Mystique look utterly gorgeous as she heads into a fight?
Though Giulietta claims she hasn't mastered body paint yet, her face is a glorious blue. Giulietta is a cosplayer, streamer, and digital artist. She also makes her own props!
