The market runs the 29-year-olds through challenges where the rich can bet on their lives or buy them flat out. The first challenge Gipyo faces ends with two of his compatriot’s heads being exploded, which proves just how dire his circumstances are.

Based on the hit novel, which has been adapted into a successful movie as well, this story follows Mrs. Jang – a teacher whose daughter was killed in an incident with her students.
