As Marvel's flagship character, Spider-Man is the quintessential New York-based superhero, swinging through Manhattan saving the day while balancing his normal civilian responsibilities and social life as Peter Parker in the busiest city in the world.

Insomniac Games' Spider-Man, itself a PlayStation 4 exclusive, presents an all-new adventure starring the friendly neighborhood web-slinger as he deals with a sudden crime wave taking advantage of the recent incarceration of the Kingpin and resulting power vacuum in New York's criminal underworld. Filled with classic Marvel characters and Easter eggs for longtime fans, the title was universally acclaimed upon its release and earned numerous gaming awards for its fun-filled open-world gameplay and fresh approach to the fan-favorite superhero. Insomniac has since released a three-part story expansion continuing the main narrative and setting up its characters for the game's inevitable sequel.

Traveller's Tales has put together the LEGO Marvel Collection, which consists of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, LEGO Marvel's Avengers, and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, as a complete box set for the first time. The compilation includes all the post-release DLC, giving fans the ultimate LEGO Marvel experience either for returning fans or new players looking to experience the titles for the first time.

Injustice 2

As the sequel to NetherRealm Studios' best-selling 2013 fighting game, Injustice 2 features a dystopian vision of the DC Universe where Superman and a faction of superheroes rule the world with an iron fist after the death of Lois Lane and the destruction of Metropolis. Ousted by Batman's resistance movement, the sequel has Supergirl arrive on Earth just as Brainiac targets the planet, working with a team of DC's greatest villains.

Developed by the same team as the Mortal Kombat franchise, the game has players pits their favorite heroes and villains against each other in brutal fights featuring a greater degree of costume customization than its predecessor. Injustice 2: The Legendary Edition contains all the downloadable fighters added since the initial release including a healthy rose of guest stars including Hellboy and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Infamous: Second Son

Infamous Second Son

A successor to the first two Infamous games on the PlayStation 3, Infamous: Second Son changes up the setting and protagonist of the open-world superhero franchise to Seattle with Delsin Rowe gaining electricity-based powers that grant him incredible abilities that let him perform jaw-dropping feats. However, with super-powered individuals being hunted by the government, Delsin finds himself attracting the wrong kind of attention very quickly.

A PlayStation exclusive like its predecessors, Second Son offers gamers a chance at a fresh jumping on point for those that hadn't played the first two games while continuing the story for longtime fans. Newly gifted with superpowers, Delsin gets to choose whether he will use his new abilities as a hero or villain with players rewarded with different story options accordingly. A standalone prequel expansion, Infamous First Light was added several months after release.

Deadpool Cable game

With the Merc with a Mouth being one of the most popular characters in Marvel's library, Activision released Deadpool, an eponymous game starring the irreverent antihero penned by longtime Deadpool comic writer Daniel Way and voiced by fan-favorite actor Nolan North. As he gleefully breaks the fourth wall, Deadpool approaches actual game developers High Moon Studios with a proposal for a game starring himself while encountering several familiar allies and enemies from the world of X-Men.

Initially released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Activision's Deadpool was rereleased on the PlayStation 4 to take advantage of the more advanced console's superior processing power while adding two new levels and alternate costumes.
